Air Force General Returns to USAF After Discharge Post Declining the Deadly mRNA COVID-Vaccine

Air Force Brigadier General Melissa Cunningham was sworn back into the Pentagon last week, a War Department news release reports (reposted below), and Pete Hegseth, the current War Secretary gushed over her, congratulating her “private stand in a very principled way as a warrior of conscience” for having refused the vaccine and “led the way for others”.

Nearly 3000 American Soldiers Refuse COVID-Vaccine After Proper Informed-Consent Briefing by US Military Doctor and DMED Whistleblower Dr. Pete Chambers/4/01/2022

General Melissa was one of 8000-8,700 Military officers discharged either voluntarily or involuntarily post their declining to subject themselves to gene modification and possible death or vaccine-injury, at the time of the DOD’s demanding that all military take the vaccine or quit. Only 608 of those service members have returned to active duty, this news release reports.

It appears that the DOW sought to get all discharged back, but in March 2025, only 650 sought to return.

It appears there was quite a tussle with the Air Force behind scenes to get General Melissa back in office, as reported here, but the Air Force is now expunging all negative report in her military record in relation to the vaccine-declining.

As a consequence of that Military Vaccine Mandate, thousands of soldiers have died, thousands have suffered debilitating vaccine injuries. Army Doctor, Lt. Col. Theresa Long was recently assigned to looking into troop deaths.

Vaccine injuries among those who took the vaccine succeeding the military vaccine mandate have been reported at the Vaccine-injury hearings in Canada recently and at Senator Ron Johnson’s panels in the US, as reported here: mRNA COVID-19 Vaccine-Injury Testimonial at Canada’s Allison Inquiry Reveals Deliberate Medical System Harm, Thousands of CDC/FDA-Known Deaths, Callous Denialism in Hospitals, PR Lies, Safety Ignored, Tragic Destruction of Lives

The medieval and misled vaccine mandate issued by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and making reference to historic “mission-critical inoculation” in the military will no doubt be remembered forever.

Military service members of course are indoctrinated to accept vaccines, injections, drugs, all in experimental mode, anytime, and not protest. Sadly, there is a whole history of non-consensual medical experimentation in the military which has led to the situation today of runaway non-consensual military experimentation on both civilians and military, as often reported here at ECC. The entire Coronavirus Pandemic Scare was run apparently as a live drill, and the mRNA Vaccines, rolled out at speed on Emergency Authorizations, by manufacturers now being widely sued, were also experimental.

The mandate was rescinded in 2023. “On August 24, 2021, the Secretary of Defense mandated that all service members receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The Secretary of Defense later rescinded the mandate on January 10, 2023.” —https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/01/reinstating-service-members-discharged-under-the-militarys-covid-19-vaccination-mandate/

Reinstatement of service members was decreed via Executive Order on January 27, 2025.

Military service members used to getting vaccinated for various diseases–as schoolchildren also are forced, and currently college-going teenagers and young adults as well, a situation which needs to change–may want to look into the dangers of all vaccines, since all vaccines carry poisons, and those physicians who have long examined their manufacture and effects warn that vaccines harm, poison, and weaken the human body and are neither a needed nor properly scientific route for immunization or protection against disease. Coverage on these subjects continues at this site, and is being collected currently at COVID Vaccine Coverage.

Hegseth Swears In Air Force General After Vaccine-Mandated Early Retirement

Oct. 27, 2026 | By Matthew Olay, Pentagon News |

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth welcomed Air Force Brig. Gen. Melissa S. Cunningham back into the Air Force during a swearing-in ceremony at the Pentagon, Oct. 23.

Cunningham was forced to retire from service in August 2022 after declining to take the military’s then-mandatory COVID-19 vaccination.

“What a wonderful thing it is to be standing here right now with you, with the stance that you’ve taken,” Hegseth told Cunningham at the ceremony’s outset.

“Not only did you take a private stand in a very principled way as a warrior of conscience, but you led the way for others … and you stood courageously beside [your principles] on your faith, … which truly speaks to your character and [is] exactly, precisely, the kind of person we want to be bringing back,” he added.

The drive to get service members who were forced out of the military during the coronavirus pandemic back into uniform began with President Donald J. Trump signing Executive Order 14184 last year, which ordered the secretaries of war and homeland security to reinstate all members of the military, active and reserve, who were discharged solely for refusal to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and who requested reinstatement.

Following the order, Hegseth implemented the one-year reinstatement policy and then extended it an additional year in March.

During his remarks, Hegseth acknowledged that the process of reinstating service members who had refused the vaccine has been challenging, but that it’s been worth it.

Between 8,000-8,700 service members were voluntarily and involuntarily discharged or separated for refusing the vaccine between August 2021 and January 2023. Since Trump signed his executive order, 608 of those service members have returned to active duty.

“Those of you that have been here know [the reinstatement process] has not been an easy one, and it’s not been a smooth one. … I just know that, from Day 1, we said, ‘We will do this.’ And, from Day 2, we said, ‘The only way we lose is if we quit, if we stop trying to improve the process [and] if we stop trying to find the warriors,'” Hegseth explained.

In jest, upon seeing the reinstatement ceremony on his schedule, Hegseth said he rejoiced in knowing that he finally had a positive meeting on his calendar.

“I was just so thrilled to see that this is happening. … And I just want to recognize the incredible work of so many people that have been involved — known and unknown, seen and unseen, publicly and privately, in uniform [and] out of uniform — and it was all worth it because you got someone of [Cunningham’s] caliber [reinstated],” Hegseth said.

Following her swearing in, 26-year veteran Cunningham expressed deep gratitude to God and numerous others — the president and Hegseth among them — for working to get her and other similarly discharged service members reinstated. She also called on motivated service members who might not have applied for reinstatement yet to pursue that course of action.

“We need leaders, those courageous warriors [of] moral conscience, to return,” she said. “The threats that our nation faces require bold, critical thinkers, and we need them back in the ranks.”

She added that she was making a plea for those who were harmed by the COVID-19 vaccine mandate to help her lay a firm foundation in the military and “help repair the breach” that was left by all the forced discharges during the pandemic.

“Because your spiritual fortitude, your character and your courage are greatly needed in this hour, and our nation demands it,” she said. “I am so fired up to be back.”
